GEDitMobile is designed to respect your privacy. The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to external servers.

Data Usage

GEDitMobile works entirely with files you choose to open on your device, such as GEDCOM files, associated media files, and optional iPhone Note files created by the app.

No account creation is required
No analytics or tracking services are used
No personal data is transmitted off your device

File Access

The app accesses only the files you explicitly select using the standard iOS file picker. All file access follows Apple’s sandboxing and security models.

iCloud

If you choose to store your files in iCloud Drive, GEDitMobile accesses those files solely to display their contents. GEDitMobile does not operate any independent cloud services.

Third-Party Services

GEDitMobile does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
